221 DAYS AND COUNTING...

FIRST MEETING: Thanks to those who made it out to our very first meeting last Wednesday evening. It was gratifying to have 22 people turn out and even more so to be able to fill all of our Board positions with minimal arm twisting, railroading or blindsiding. Seriously, I was very grateful and impressed to see that people stepped up and that we had no problems filling all the spots. With this new, enthusiastic, experienced and professional group at the helm, I am more confident than ever that we can win our case and convince Calgary City Council that we have the best plan to care for the Mosquito.

We capped the evening by showing Berry Campbell's DVD about the early post war days of aerial survey in Canada. It got a spontaneous and enthusiastic round of applause from the group. Thank you again Betty.
